Environmental Protection
Environmental Protection
At Sujan Navigation, we recognize that our tank storage and logistics operations have an impact on the environment. We are committed to minimizing this impact and operating in a responsible and sustainable manner.
Environmental protection is an integral part of our HSSE management system. We focus on using energy and natural resources efficiently, preventing pollution, reducing waste, and avoiding environmental harm. We also promote environmental awareness among our employees to ensure responsible daily practices.
We monitor key environmental data across our facilities, including energy and water consumption, emissions, waste generation, and any product releases. Clear performance indicators help us track progress and drive continuous improvement. We also assess our carbon footprint and regularly monitor groundwater quality at our terminals as preventive measures.
Our operations use both direct energy (such as fuel for equipment and vehicles) and indirect energy (mainly electricity for terminal and office activities). We continuously look for ways to improve energy efficiency and reduce consumption.
Through responsible environmental management, Sujan Navigation is committed to protecting the environment while delivering reliable and safe services.
Climate Protection Initiatives
Sujan Navigation is committed to reducing the environmental impact of our operations. We continuously work to improve energy efficiency, optimize resource use, and implement practical environmental protection programs across our facilities.
Dedicated teams at our locations develop and monitor initiatives focused on reducing energy consumption, water use, and waste generation. These efforts support our goal of lowering emissions and improving overall environmental performance.
Where applicable, we support internationally recognized sustainability standards. The ISCC (International Sustainability and Carbon Certification) system is a globally recognized certification covering sustainable feedstocks, renewable energy, biomass, and circular materials. ISCC certification demonstrates compliance with established sustainability requirements, including relevant European Union directives.
Through these initiatives, Sujan Navigation remains committed to responsible operations and long-term climate protection.
Water Saving Projects
Sujan Navigation recognizes that water is a valuable and limited resource. We are committed to using water responsibly and reducing consumption across our tank terminal operations.
Water is mainly used for tank cleaning, hydrostatic testing, product heating, and office facilities. Our objective is to use only what is necessary while protecting water quality and preventing contamination.
In regions where water stress is a concern, we take additional precautions to assess and manage water-related risks. Our HSSE and Sustainability teams regularly review water usage data and implement improvement measures to reduce consumption.
Various sites have introduced water-saving initiatives such as recycling systems, retention basins, and efficiency upgrades to minimize the use of fresh water. These efforts support our broader commitment to environmental protection and sustainable operations.
Through continuous monitoring and improvement, Sujan Navigation aims to safeguard water resources for the communities in which we operate.
